What's New at the Garden City Public Library

The mission of the Garden City Public Library is to connect people with information.

The Young Adult Department of the Library is specifically designed to serve students in grades 6-12. Here teens and ‘tweens will find a large selection of books, audiobooks on CD and Playaways, college catalogs and guidebooks, and magazines. There are also computers with varied electronic resources to assist students and parents with school assignments as well as with the college search process. Marge Kelly, the young-adult librarian, provides young adults with suggestions on what to read as well as help finding materials for school assignments. The YA Department offers a wide range of programs generously funded by the Friends of the Garden City Public Library.
