Bestselling novelist Anita Shreve’s A Wedding in December is the selection for a book discussion, which will be moderated by Gloria Weinrich, on Wednesday, May 23 at 10:00 AM at the Library. Shreve tells the story of seven former schoolmates who reunite at an inn for a wedding. The guests recall what really happened on a night that changed their lives forever. This is a novel about choices and decisions, and the endless allure of missed opportunities.

This book discussion will take place in the Library’s Small Meeting Room on the Lower Level. No registration is necessary. Copies of the book are available at the Reference Desk  beginning April 23. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Garden City Public Library.
